Dr Susan Hoffstetter is a women’s health nurse practitioner who is co-director of the Vulvar and Vaginal Disorders Specialty Center. She customizes treatment plans for women who experience pain with intercourse, lichen sclerosus, vulvodynia, recurrent vaginitis, and persistent vaginal or vulvar itching. She also provides urodynamic studies in her practice.
Her research interests include vulvodynia, recurrent candidiasis, and managing lichen sclerosus with mid-potency corticosteroids.
Dr Hoffstetter is a professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women’s Health, Division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
